Andy Alvarez has joined Leeds Building Society as national intermediary development manager.
He is tasked with to developing the Society’s broker relations and service for intermediaries across the UK.
Alvarez (pictured) has 25 years’ experience in the industry., having held senior positions with Morgan Stanley, Nationwide, Mansfield Building Society, and Vida Homeloans. Most recently, he served as the head of division for partner finance at St James’s Place.
As part of his new role at Leeds Building Society, Alvarez will be responsible for the delivery of the sales strategy for intermediary mortgages and managing the field-based relationship management team in the South of England and Northern Ireland.
Alvarez said: “I’ve long admired the way that Leeds puts its purpose at the heart of everything, and is laser-focused on putting homeownership within reach of more people, generation after generation.
