The Right DA Club has added protection and private medical insurance (PMI) provider, National Friendly, to its insurance panel.
Members of the club can now access National Friendly’s range of insurance products which include income protection, accident-only income protection, PMI, and over-50s life cover.
The provider recently launched a new, non-underwritten cover product, Friendly Shield, which is aimed at those clients who may not typically be able to afford traditional protection products.
It includes: income benefit of up to £2,250 for up to three months; fracture cover of bones up to £3k; accidental death benefit up to £85k; natural death benefit of £2,500; rehabilitation benefit of £1k for private facilities; hospital cash benefit of £50 per night up to £18k; and access to a virtual GP.
Chelsea Kiefert (pictured), head of the Right DA Club, said: “There are clearly large numbers of clients who have no protection or insurance cover, or have cover insufficient for their needs and lifestyles. Part of our focus at The Right DA Club is to work with forward-thinking providers to broaden the scope of advisers’ propositions in these areas, and to help them provide the right product solutions for a whole range of clients.
“Working with National Friendly ensures our member firms have access to such products, and a provider that can also help them grow their business, and ensure more clients have peace of mind across multiple areas. Through our network business we already have a strong relationship with the National Friendly team, and we’re now looking forward to replicating that with the DA Club.”
Gifford Clay, head of intermediary sales at National Friendly, added: “We at National Friendly are delighted to announce our new partnership with The Right DA Cub following the success of our collaboration with Group company, The Right Mortgage & Protection Network.
“This strategic alliance will significantly broaden our reach, allowing us to offer our innovative insurance products to those who have traditionally found it challenging to secure coverage. Together, we are committed to making insurance more accessible and inclusive for all.”
