Accord tweaks residential range

Accord Mortgages has made changes its residential mortgages.

The intermediary-only lender, which is part of the Yorkshire Building Society, has reduced rates on more than 50 mortgages by up to 0.15 percentage points.

Home buyers can now apply for a 1.82% two-year fix at 75% loan-to-value (LTV) which has no product fee and comes with free standard valuation and £500 cashback.

For home buyers and remortgage customers looking for longer term security there is a five-year fix at 2.24% % at 85% LTV and a £995 product fee.

In addition, Accord has added a free standard valuation feature to all of its fixed rate mortgages with £1,995 fees, as well as to its two-year tracker at 1.04%,which has no early repayment charges.

David Robinson, national intermediary sales manager at Accord, said: “Market conditions are still enabling lenders to offer highly competitive mortgage deals, which is great news for borrowers. We want to ensure that our range is appealing to both borrowers and brokers, and we hope extra touches, such as free standard valuation and cashback, will help homeowners to keep the upfront costs of their mortgage low.”
