Abbey for Intermediaries (AFI) has launched a Santander Current Account Referral Platform, which will allow intermediaries to refer their clients to Santander to open a new current account and receive an introduction fee for all successful account openings.
Intermediaries from a number of Key Accounts and mortgage clubs can now refer their clients for a Santander Current Account through a link on the homepage of the AFI website.
Once the client has given their consent, the intermediary just needs to enter their broker code, the client’s name and their email address, and the client will then be sent a personalised email to apply for a Santander Current Account. An introduction fee will be paid to the intermediary for all successful account openings.
The Santander Current Account range includes the 123 Current Account, which gives new and existing Santander mortgage customers 1% cashback on their monthly mortgage payments up to a maximum of £1000 per month. The account also pays up to 3% cashback on household bills and in-credit interest of up to 3%.
