ASTL releases details of annual conference

The Association of Short Term Lenders (ASTL) has announced the date of its third annual conference as 1 October 2015.

The ASTL anticipates up to 200 people attending the conference titled “Bridging – Problems and Solutions”, which will be held at Painters’ Hall, 9 Little Trinity Lane, London, EC4V 2AD.

The timing of the conference has changed slightly this year to start and finish earlier, running from 9am until 1pm followed by lunch and networking.

The participation fee is priced at £150 and will include lunch.

Benson Hersch (pictured), CEO of the ASTL, said: “Confidence is high in the bridging sector at the moment.  Our members are increasing their levels of lending every quarter and this looks to continue throughout the year.  However the market is not without its challenges; uncertainty in Europe, increasing levels of regulation and the implementation of the Mortgage Credit Directive are all likely to have an effect on the bridging market.  The ASTL conference will tackle all of these challenges and more with some challenging new speakers as well as others who are more familiar.

“The new timings, from 9am-1pm followed by lunch, we hope will be more convenient for people who can then return to work or arrange meetings in London.”
