Berkeley Alexander hails ‘Struggle Service’ success

Berkeley Alexander now has 13 individual insurers and in excess of 50 individual products available to advisers placing non-standard risks for their clients, 12 months on from the launch of its ‘Struggle Service’.

The Struggle Service was launched in January 2012 in response to advisers’ demands for swift access to specialist markets and insurers and competitive quotes for clients’ non-standard insurance risks which they might otherwise have to turn away.

The service offers help for a wide range of cases including those with a claims history, property with subsidence problems, flood risk, non-standard construction or extensive outbuildings, as well as residential buildings with an element of business use.

High/mid net worth clients or those with high risk occupations as well as many more factors can also be catered for.
