Bower votes for Commons charity dinner

Equity release specialist Bower Retirement Services is backing Pancreatic Cancer UK and Saint Francis Hospice with a charity dinner at the Houses of Parliament.

Adventurer and personal trainer Sally Kettle – the first woman to row the Atlantic Ocean twice from East to West who is set to become the first to row it three times – will be the keynote speaker at the event on 30 June.

All money raised at the auction after the dinner will go to charity partners Saint Francis Hospice, based in Romford, Essex, and Pancreatic Cancer UK.

Guest speaker Sally Kettle will outline her experiences which include rowing the Atlantic with her mother as well as raising more than £500,000 for charity and writing books.

Guests will also have a tour of the Houses of Parliament with MP Andrew Rosindell who is sponsoring the event for Bower, which has recently launched its dedicated high net worth equity release service, Bower Private Clients.

Geoff Charles, CEO of Bower Retirement Services, said: “St Francis Hospice and Pancreatic Cancer UK deserve as much support as possible and we hope our event can help.”
