Brightstar has announced that its specialist sourcing system and case management tool, EasySource, will launch for intermediaries and will be available to use from 1 June.
Shawbrook Bank will be EasySource’s official sponsor.
Brightstar says its system will enable intermediaries to search across multiple categories of products, comparing them side by side. Intermediaries will be able to identify the most appropriate solution from a panel of specialist lenders.
The product categories will include specialist mortgages, specialist buy-to-let, bridging loans, second charge mortgages and commercial finance; for example EasySource will offer a cost comparison between a capital raising remortgage or a second charge mortgage.
EasySource can be used from any device or operating system; and will also provide intermediaries with a case-management tool and full audit trail.
Rob Jupp (pictured), chief executive of Brightstar, said: “We have worked on this technology for well over a year now with the aim of transforming the way that intermediaries work with Brightstar. Our revolutionary technology will allow intermediaries to quickly establish if Brightstar is able to help their client and if so, which product category would be the best choice, revealing potentially unforeseen solutions. The search results will feature a quick comparison tool to view selected products side by side, as well as an evidence of research document.
“The case management tool will be immensely practical in providing complete visibility on the progress of a client’s application; they will also receive a full audit trail, automated updates and direct access to their dedicated case manager to talk things through with.
“The whole ethos of EasySource is to make it easy for intermediaries, to consider specialist lending and empower them to find the most suitable options for their clients.”
Maeve Ward, sales and operations director for secured lending at Shawbrook Bank, added: “EasySource really is a leap forward in mortgage sourcing technology that will change the way that intermediaries look at loans and mortgages that are outside of the mainstream.
“Shawbrook is increasingly associated with being at the forefront of new lending practices and therefore it made perfect sense for us to be associated with EasySource.”
