Brokers praise Mortgage Vision events

thumbs up

96% of attendees of the 2014 series of Mortgage Vision events rated them as ‘excellent’ or ‘very good’.

Over 650 mortgage brokers attended one of the eight nationwide events, which featured headline speakers from the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) and Nationwide/The Mortgage Works, with 98% of attendees saying they would recommend them to their peers.

Designed to give brokers a strategic insight into the future of the UK mortgage market, the events included exclusive round table discussions from Virgin Money, Santander for Intermediaries, Nationwide, Aldermore, Bright Grey, Fluent Money, IFA Conveyancing, Source and Mortgage Brain.

This year’s events saw AMI take to the road where it outlined its current priority issues within the market including the ongoing supervision and review of MMR implementation, the FCA’s regulation of consumer credit, implementation of the EU Mortgage Credit Directive and the impact of the state retirement changes on the mortgage market.

Robert Sinclair, AMI chief executive, said: “We were delighted to play a part in this year’s Mortgage Vision events; the feedback and support we received from brokers was fantastic.

“The events gave brokers an invaluable insight into the future of the mortgage market and helped them better understand how they can improve performance and revenue for their businesses.”

Mark Lofthouse, CEO of Mortgage Brain, added: “We’re absolutely thrilled with the tremendous success of the Mortgage Vision events this year. The broker feedback we received has made it very clear that they offer a winning formula for brokers wanting to get a better understanding of the future of the UK mortgage market.”
