Catalyst Property Finance appoints head of real estate

Catalyst Property Finance has appointed Kevin Stephenson as its head of real estate within its short-term finance business.

Stephenson (pictured) will be responsible for assessing and monitoring Catalyst’s underlying property loan assets through a mix of online research and site visits.

Chris Fairfax, CEO at Catalyst Property Finance, said: “Kevin brings with him an absolute wealth of property valuation experience. I’m sure Kevin won’t mind me sharing that he became a Chartered Surveyor in 1978 and his 41 years’ experience in real estate valuations is very impressive. From our initial interview with Kevin, we had no doubt that the depth of his expertise will be an asset to Catalyst Property Finance.

“We are pleased to welcome Kevin to the Catalyst team. His ability to quickly review property, understand the borrower need and advise our credit function will be beneficial to our customers and head office team alike.”

Stephenson added: “I am excited to join Catalyst. They are a lender who is passionate about improving the way bridging finance is provided to customers. I’m looking forward to bringing my experience to the team in the next phase of the company’s growth.”
