Connect Mortgage Club (CMC) has introduced a new downloadable international and expat mortgage product guide for mortgage brokers and intermediaries.
CMC’s says its free desktop guide provides information on some of the best mortgage deals currently available to foreigners in over 30 different countries, plus options for expats and foreign nationals looking for property finance in the UK.
Liz Syms (pictured), CMC’s managing director, claimed the guide is a “great tool” in supporting brokers with these types of enquiries.
She said: “The guide provides a quick and easy point of reference to help brokers understand what global property finance options are available.
“No matter if it’s a one off enquiry or something that forms a core part of a broker’s business, this useful resource tool can empower a broker’s knowledge in both expat and international mortgages, plus provide a launch pad to either dealing with the enquiry themselves, using our unique mortgage sourcing software, or referring the enquiry to one our specialist mortgage advisers through our international mortgage helpdesk.
“We have experienced a notable rise in the demand for foreign and expat mortgages over the past year, as more property investors have sought to add a international dimension to their portfolios, with a growing number of people also looking to work and reside abroad. In response to this we have seen more brokers start to tap into these lucrative markets, with lenders following suit, as we now have over 20 providers who will consider mortgages for expats.”
