Compliance First doubles client base since acquisition

peertopeer

Compliance First, which was acquired by the SimplyBiz Group in 2007, has announced its client numbers have doubled.

When Compliance First joined the Group in 2007, it had 165 firms using its services. Six years on, the Glasgow-based company has more than doubled its client firms, with over 350 financial advisory firms using Compliance First for support and guidance.

Janice Laing, Compliance First business director, said: “When we joined the SimplyBiz Group in 2007, we were very keen to ensure this move continued to build on our existing reputation in this market and that we maintained the nature and strength of our service levels.

“Since becoming part of the Group, not only have we continued to provide the same bespoke, personal service with an exceptional level of expertise and knowledge, but clients now have the additional benefits available as part of a larger organisation. Thanks to the size and strength of the SimplyBiz Group, we have been able to offer our clients access to essential tools and systems at substantially discounted rates, as well as benefits from other divisions of the Group such as Verbatim, SimplyBiz Mortgages and the New Model Business Academy along with innovations like our end-to-end post-RDR proposition, Vision.

“The fact that we have doubled our number of clients, especially in the sometimes challenging post-RDR world, illustrates how strong our offering and service levels are and we are very proud of how we have developed in the last six years.”

Neil Stevens, joint managing director of the SimplyBiz Group, added: “Prior to acquiring the business, we had long been impressed with Compliance First’s robust proposition and the calibre of their staff.

“Doubling the number of firms using their services demonstrates how fully they have retained these excellent qualities, whilst simultaneously being able to evolve the breadth of their offering to clients due to their position within the Group.”
