Countrywide adds to its corporate business team

Countrywide plc has appointed Scott Burman as corporate relationship director.

He joins Countrywide from Lloyds Banking Group where he managed the retail relationship with larger house builders. He has over 14 years’ experience in the finance industry.

Previous roles include intermediary mortgage business development manager at Scottish Widows Bank and national account manager at Lloyds.

Burman said: “I am delighted to be joining Countrywide at the start of a very exciting journey with the Building our future strategy laid out. I’m looking forward to working with the teams at Countrywide to provide new and existing clients with market leading and innovative business opportunities, whist delivering excellent customer care.”

Paul Hunt, operations director at Countrywide Corporate Business, added: “Scott will join Sally Young as one of two corporate relationship directors within our corporate business team.

“Scott’s expertise of the lender, house builder and SME markets will greatly add to the knowledge and experience already within the team and we look forward to welcoming Scott to Countrywide.”
