Paradigm Mortgage Services has published details of the first of its 2014 round table events, which will take place this month in East Grinstead, West Sussex.
The mortgage and protection round table event for directly authorised advisers will occur on Wednesday 22 January at the Felbridge Hotel & Spa, London Road, East Grinstead, West Sussex.
The focus will be on both mortgage and protection opportunities for DA advisers with a presentation from Mike Allison, partnership development manager at Paradigm, on Paradigm Protect, the brand new protection proposition. The session will give an introduction to the offering as well as covering off future development plans.
Following on from this session attendees will be able to interact with representatives from Coventry Building Society, Exeter Family Friendly, Leeds Building Society and Accord Mortgages. These lenders and providers will be presenting their propositions and outlining how advisers can conduct more business with them in 2014.
There will also be a further presentation from Zurich on the protection market followed by a session led by Paradigm’s partnership manager, Christine Newell, offering guidance to firms on where they should be with their plans for Mortgage Market Review (MMR) compliance.
The round table event is open to all directly authorised advisers and begins with registration and coffee from 9.30am. All attendees can earn CPD points by attending.
Paradigm will also be hosting further round table events on Wednesday 19th February in Central London and Wednesday 26th March in Southampton. Full venue details will be announced shortly and Paradigm is hopeful it will have a representative from the FCA speaking at both events.
Bob Hunt, chief executive of Paradigm Mortgage Services, “Our round table events became a regular part of the Paradigm calendar throughout last year and, given their success, we wanted to continue offering directly authorised advisers the chance to meet and deal with both Paradigm and a varied array of providers and lenders.
“This month’s event in East Grinstead is the first in 2014 and will see us outline our brand new protection proposition, Paradigm Protect, which has been designed to support brokers who operate in the market as well as those who wish to develop their client offering further. There will also be a further update on the move towards MMR where we will outline the measures firms should be putting in place in order to be compliant come the end of April.
“This event is open to all DA advisers and we look forward to catching up with the adviser community in that area later this month.”
