Enduralife expands product portfolio

Protection distributor Enduralife is now offering buildings and contents insurance to existing customers.

Current customers who are either homeowners or tenants can choose to purchase buildings insurance, contents insurance or a combination of the two. Paymentshield will cover standard cases and Ceta will cover non-standard arrangements. Both offer 5-star Defaqto rated products.

There are plans to extend buildings and contents insurance to new customers in the future.

This initiative makes Enduralife one of a few protection specialists to also sell general insurance directly and is part of a broader plan by Enduralife to expand its product range to meet more of their customers’ insurance needs. This decision follows an introducer arrangement the company has had in place for the last few years.

A free will writing service and trust and estate planning advice is available to all Enduralife policyholders, offered via a partnership with Zen Generational Wealth.

The new department will be headed up by Dawn Bassett, who has more than 20 years’ experience in household insurance. She said: “I am thrilled to be joining Enduralife to spearhead this new proposition. I am excited by the company’s ambitions and look forward to playing my part in helping to grow the business. I relish the challenge of creating a successful new team and building a strong presence in this field.”

Kevin Paterson (pictured), managing director, said: “Enduralife has become one of most respected life and critical illness brokerages in the UK. The time is right to build on this foundation and expand into new areas, meeting more of our customers’ protection needs.

“Before joining Enduralife last year, I spent 12 years working in general insurance and have seen first-hand the tremendous value that this type of insurance can add to the business. By expanding our offer, we can provide our customers with the security that they want for their homes from a provider that they already trust.”
