First Complete has launched its first series of member roadshows for 2014.
Called ‘kick off meetings’, they will be taking place around the UK, looking at the opportunities and the challenges facing brokers over the coming year.
There will be five different meetings across the UK, with both lender and protection partners present at each one. They will look at how brokers can take advantage of the opportunities that may come their way, how to hone their sales skills and always ensure that they are giving best advice. There will be presentations about both compliance and quality and how brokers should start preparing for the MMR.
At each event an advocate will speak; First Complete this will be one of the ‘top’ brokers from another region who will talk about best practice to encourage brokers to learn from one another.
Toni Smith, sales operations director at First Complete, said: “The kick off meetings help all of our brokers to really focus on the year ahead, not only the opportunities but also the challenges they may face, to make sure that they have the right structures in place in their businesses and the right skills to deal with anything that may face them. We will provide training and support at all of the meetings to ensure that all First Complete brokers have in place everything they need.
“A key part of the meetings are the opportunities to speak with lenders and protection providers face-to-face, but also to share best practice with one another.”
