The Finance & Leasing Association (FLA) is recruiting a new head of communications.
Incumbent Russell Hamblin-Boone will leave in August.
“We are sorry to see Russell go and are grateful to him for his contribution at the FLA,” said Stephen Sklaroff, director general of the FLA. “We wish him every success in the future.”
The credit body has retained Susan Milford of Executive Resourcing and Assessment to undertake the search.
In 2011 FLA members provided £72.9 billion of new finance to UK businesses and households. £52.1 billion of this was in the form of consumer credit, a third of all unsecured lending in the UK.
£19.9 billion of it supported the purchase of new and used cars, including more than 60% of private new car registrations.
