Hinckley & Rugby has set up a new team to develop its business with mortgage introducers.

At present, the mutual has over 2,700 active introducers registered, a number the new team is focused on growing.

The new team is being led by business development manager Carolyn Thornley-Yates
with assistant Emily Smith, and has been created improve how the Society works with intermediaries.

The pair are already meeting introducers and their mortgage clubs and networks to talk through enhancing the Society’s services.

“Introducers’ feedback is very important,” said Thornley-Yates.

“We are going to meet every club and network in 2013 and talking about more exclusive deals, fostering new relationships and finding out how they feel that mortgage providers are frustrating their businesses.”

Hinckley & Rugby chief executive Chris White added: “Introducers are increasingly important to our mortgage business. By establishing this team and putting two excellent and dedicated colleagues in place, we aim to better serve their interests and those of borrowers.”
