Hodge to hold broker Q&A on Covid-19

Hodge is hosting a live 15-minute lending update for brokers on Wednesday (13 May).

The Q&A style update will be with Hodge’s head of underwriting, Emma Williamson, and business development director, Emma Graham, and will address the challenges of lending during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The aim of the talk is to provide brokers with an update to lending throughout the Covid-19 outbreak, but also explain how Hodge is adapting to the changing environment.

The lender says it will discuss product changes, new ways of working, and offer a detailed look at its underwriting processes – and how it is trying to be as flexible as possible for its brokers and customers.

Graham said: “During the past month we have seen many changes introduced by lenders and it’s only now we are now starting to see some of the initial restrictions lifting.

“We thought now would be a great opportunity to update brokers on these changes with Emma Williamson our head of underwriting. The way the financial services industry approaches lending has never been more important – as well as being  able to adapt to the market, we need to continue to support our customers who are experiencing one of the most challenging economic climates in recent times.”

This 15-minute talk will be free to attend and is in addition to the webinar series Hodge has been hosting about later life lending.
