Holloway Friendly joins forces with online portal

Holloway Friendly has partnered with Synaptic Software to provide its income protection policies through its online portal.

The Synaptic Webline portal enables brokers to look up information on policy features and obtain quotes from Holloway Friendly in real time.

Brokers will now be able to search all Holloway Friendly products and get a quote in real time and then apply for the policy while they are still with the client. Client quotes and personalised illustration will be stored securely in the Synaptic Software database both for future reference and as a clear audit trail of what advice was given and why.

Mat Manser (pictured), sales and marketing director at Holloway Friendly, said: “The launch of our products on Webline has been designed to complement our existing ways of working with brokers. While we will still provide direct access to underwriters, and our telephone teams will be available to help during working hours as they always have been, the broker interface included in the portal will provide brokers with additional support in the form of prompts, guidance and products reviews, in a way that can also be shown to the client any time of day or night.

“By being able to show the client how well a product fits for their individual needs, it will help brokers to increase the number of income protection policies they sell, providing families with much needed protection.”

Adam Byford, managing director at Synaptic Software Limited, added: “We are delighted to be working with Holloway Friendly and to add their income protection products onto the Synaptic Webline portal. Holloway has been the benchmark in income protection product design since its formation 140 years ago, and I am sure that our customers will welcome their addition.

“The Synaptic Webline portal has increased its transactions volume by over 100% year-on-year with the addition of new intermediary business, new products and new providers and we are confident that the addition of Holloway Friendly will help us in continuing this phenomenon.”
