National law firm Ashfords LLP has been appointed by Homes England to its Legal Services Framework.
The framework will begin on 1 May 2018 for a period of two years, with an optional extension for a further two years.
Homes England, the Government’s national housing agency, brings together land, money, expertise, planning and compulsory purchase powers to deliver a sustained improvement in affordability.
This win will see Ashfords provide legal advice in the following areas: real estate; housing, procurement and state aid, planning, development and construction, contracts, litigation, property, commercial law, banking, mortgage enforcement, agriculture law and environment.
Ashfords is one of seven firms appointed to the framework, which will bring in £15 million during the four-year term.

Ashfords has also been appointed on the Crescent Purchasing Consortium Legal Services Framework for the next four years providing a wide range of legal advice across the UK. This appointment will enable all public-sector bodies the opportunity to instruct Ashfords, without having to go through their own tender process.
