Hope Capital has made a number of important promotions within its team.
Charlie Gregory, who previously held the title of business development manager has now been promoted to senior business development manager, where he will continue to support clients in London and the South, while having more involvement in the strategic direction of the sales team and overall business.
Hope Capital says its underwriting department has also witnessed “substantial growth” with the announcement of two newly created senior underwriter roles, as well as a new underwriter role. Andy Bate, who joined the lender in June 2021 and Ryan Peers, who joined in April 2022, have both been promoted to senior underwriter.
Hammad Abbasi has also progressed from underwriting coordinator to an underwriter where he will play an important role in making decisions on applications and progressing deals through to completion.
Jonathan Sealey, CEO at Hope Capital, said: “All of these promotions are thoroughly deserved. Charlie, Andy, and Ryan all know the business inside and out and have shown complete dedication and commitment to their roles. Although Hammad is a more recent appointment, he too has shown a real commitment to the role and company, which is why we have no doubt he is ready to step up to an underwriter position.
“Each promotion will enable us to continue to grow and build even stronger relationships with our brokers, stakeholders, and so forth, as we continue to identify further opportunities for expansion in the market.”
As part of Hope Capital’s growth strategy, the lender introduced several newly created roles in 2023, and has plans to continue to grow its team significantly in 2024.
