Independent Growth Finance (IGF) has appointed Jamie O’Neill as asset based lending (ABL) director.
He will focus on origination activity in London and the South East of England.
O’Neill (pictured) will work alongside director Jon Hughes and commercial director Michael Fletcher, to provide flexible financing solutions to companies across the region.
O’Neill has 12 years’ experience working in the ABL industry, starting his career in 2008 at RBS Invoice Finance on its fast-track development programme. Since then, O’Neill has worked in structuring complex ABL facilities across receivables, inventory, plant & machinery, property and term loans. His experience includes supporting clients, sponsors and introducers in the lower mid-market space and in support of events such as management buy-outs, management buy-ins, acquisitions and growth.
O’Neill said: “the IGF approach to relationship lending and their ability to provide borrowers and advisers alike with clarity, is exactly what’s required at present. Lenders like IGF who can work alongside a management team and deliver when required have never been more important.”
Fletcher added: “We are delighted that Jamie is joining the team. Jamie will play a vital role in further building relationships with leading advisers and investors in the region as we push for further growth.”
