Just Mortgages’ self-employed division beating targets

Just Mortgages has reported growth in its self-employed division from a standing start to 38 self-employed brokers.

Established in March 2016 with the recruitment of Carl Parker (pictured) who heads it up, the division is set to bank £3.5m of income this year.

Another 21 people have already applied to become a Just Mortgages self-employed broker and the division looks set to exceed 60 brokers by mid-year, beating the target of 66 by year end.

Parker’s team is being boosted by Ashley Edwards who joins Just Mortgages this month from LSL’s Reeds Rains, where she was their top sales manager. Edwards joins Rob Perrin and Ben Allkins to become the division’s third regional sales director.

Parker said: “I believe the phenomenal growth that we have experienced has been in a large part to the support and training that we provide to brokers making the move to be self-employed. Support that is not only provided on joining us but on an ongoing basis.

“This support will be taken to a whole new level now with the recruitment of Ashley Edwards.  Ashley’s knowledge and ability can only help to grow the Just Mortgages self-employed division still further, by providing a level of support that helps every broker to fulfil their maximum potential.”

Edwards added: “Just Mortgages provided me with a great opportunity not only to progress my own career, but to help progress that of other brokers too. It is a forward looking organisation with considerable growth plans and the fact that they are already exceeding these is a testament to what they also help brokers to achieve.”
