Specialist lender Kensington is expanding its broker sales team, following its pledge to invest more in developing intermediary business.
Paul Weatherhogg is joining Kensington as the business manager for North London and he will be supported by Declan Walsh who will be a telephone based business consultant.
Both are returning to roles in Kensington and bring with them more than 30 years experience in the mortgage market, 20 of which have been at the specialist lender.
At the end of April Kensington launched a new online application portal and affordability calculator, before introducing free valuations and free legals on remortgages across its range as well as the removing its upfront administration fee.
At the beginning of June the specialist lender announced a new pledge to provide an underwriter call as part of the initial assessment of every application.
Weatherhogg said: “These are exciting times at Kensington as we continue to develop our business and grow our lending in the specialist market.
“Declan and I are looking forward to renewing old acquaintances and forging new relationships. If you are a broker in my area, I hope to be speaking to you about your specialist clients soon.”
