Kevin Paterson, sales and marketing director, Assurant Intermediary has quit the firm.
Paterson (pictured) is believed to be on gardening leave but was unavailable for comment.
He worked for the general insurance provider for just over four years. He has also worked for now-defunct pacakger Enterprise Group and, before that, Park Row Group as well as for other financial services firms.
Paterson, who recently turned 50, also served in the Royal Marines, and fought in the Falklands conflict.
