L&G unveils new employer benefits hub

Facility include access to a range of forms for employers

Legal & General has announced the launch of its new benefits hub, designed to provide businesses with easy access to a range of information on group income protection features.

It includes details on a range of possible health concerns, as well as allowing employers to begin the claims process “in a convenient manner”.

The new site is aimed at creating efficiencies by providing advice and relevant information to help employers when making a claim on their Legal & General group income protection policy.

The new digital hub has been designed to include access to a range of forms for employers, such as downloadable absence notification forms and member statements. The hub also includes information for managers on how an employee will be referred for rehabilitation and how to support individuals whilst they are absent from work or considering a return to work.

As well as providing material for employers, the benefits hub gives employees information on what they could expect if they were referred to Legal & General’s rehabilitation team and includes links to information on a range of health concerns, such as mental health, physical health and surgery advice.
