LV= becomes LLA Ambassador

The Later Life Academy (LLA) has revealed that LV= has become its newest Ambassador firm.

LV= has a range of retirement products including personal pensions, SIPPs, income drawdown and fixed-term annuities.

It is also offers a flexible lifetime mortgage for clients who wish to release equity from their home both now and in the future. LV= also offers a ’Lifetime Mortgage – Lump Sum +’ product which allows the client to release equity and repay up to 10% each year with no early repayment charges from year two onwards.

Working with the LLA as an Ambassador, LV= will provide input, resource and support to Academy members, help to develop the overall retirement-focused content of the organisation and provide a range of materials and resources.

The LLA will also work with LV= to deliver a series of corporate and commercial benefits focusing predominantly on the equity release product range.

Stuart Wilson, managing partner at the Later Life Academy, said: “One of the key aims of the Academy has always been to bring in more Ambassador firms that can help support our work and deliver a range of content and resources for our members.

“The addition of LV= to that roster is a significant coup for the LLA and helps us access one of the leading providers of retirement products in the country. On top of its ability to help us shape our offering to members, the Academy and LV= will also be working together to ensure there are commercial benefits to this relationship, and that member firms are clear about the LV= product proposition and how it might suit their clients.

“This is an exciting time for the entire later life advice sector and having LV= as one of our Ambassadors helps us tap into a formidable market player which is committed to the advisory profession. We are looking forward to working with them.”

Steve Lewis (pictured), retirement director at LV=, added: “We’re really excited to become an Ambassador for the Later Life Academy at a time when we are seeing significant changes in the retirement market. At LV=, we know that maintaining a strong relationship with financial advisers is essential to ensuring we can continue to meet their needs and those of their customers.

“We are looking forward to working with the members of the Later Life Academy as part of a two-way process – to both support them and help their businesses to grow, and get their insights for the future.”
