MBE Leeds Expo to include Bank of England keynote

Mortgage Business Expo (MBE) Leeds will feature a keynote presentation by the Bank of England.

The event will take place on 30 April at the Royal Armouries in Leeds.

Paul Mount, deputy agent at the Bank of England, will present an economic update covering key issues for UK economic prospects over the next few years in both the consumer and business sectors as well as global activity.

Other CPD seminars will also feature keynote speeches on specialist property finance, fintech, the mortgage market and later life lending.

Free registration is now open and visitors will have the opportunity to directly discuss the finance and planning needs for their clients with major financial brands such as building societies, specialist lenders and retirement planning providers.

Mike Mikunda (pictured) from MBE said: “We are delighted to once again have a high profile speaker from the Bank of England at an MBE Expo, particularly at this important time for the economy. It will certainly be a presentation a lot of people will want to attend.

“With a strong finance community in Yorkshire, the Leeds Expo allows brokers, IFAs and introducers to talk directly with lenders and service providers about their latest products. Further speakers will be announced soon and it’s gearing up to be another exciting Expo.”
