Over £100,000 was raised last week for the charity Promise Dreams on its 10th anniversary.
As part of the fundraising, Steve Walker, managing director of the loan master broker, Promise Solutions, joined 3500 people last week to walk 10 miles.
The charity was set up by Directors of Promise Solutions in 2001 to help terminally and seriously ill children and their families and operates from their head office in Wolverhampton.
Walker said: “This was a huge achievement and my thanks go out Beacon Radio which organised and promoted this event. They did an amazing job and thanks also go to all those people who turned out on the day to make a real difference for some very sick kids across the UK.
