Networks open January workshops to non-members

Mortgage and Protection networks  HLPartnership (HLP) and Mortgage Support Network (MSN) are non-members to join them at their annual series of technology and marketing workshops in January.

The events are designed to help members to make greater use of available technology to improve their marketing and customer engagement.

The workshops also include demonstrating how technology can be used to set up secure communications between customer, adviser, conveyancer and product provider to eliminate fraud.

The dates and venues are as follows:

15/01 – Bridge Hotel, Wetherby
16/01 – Cottons Hotel & Spa, Knutsford
17/01 –  Hilton, Leicester
22/01 – Leigh Court, Bristol
23/01 – Crowne Plaza, Felbridge Hotel, Crawley
24/01 – Marriott, Waltham Forest

Places for non-members can be booked at https://www.hlpdocuments.co.uk/event-sign-up, but are limited and will be on a first come, first served basis.

Neil Hoare (pictured), commercial director at HLP and MSN, said: “There has been a lot of talk about the threat from robo advice to advisers’ businesses. We believe that brokers should not be afraid, provided they embrace the IT and technology tools that already exist.

“Over the past few years HLP and MSN have invested heavily in IT and tech support, which provides service efficiencies, helps advisers to understand customers better and provides simple tools to ensure that regular contact is maintained.

“We know that customers prefer to talk to an adviser. Utilising the benefits that technology offers, allied to their lifetime skills of customer interaction, advisers can offer a far more potent service than robo advice an ever hope to do.”
