New FS events for Wales unveiled

Front Events, organisers of the Financial Services Expo (FSE) exhibitions, has published details of two new events which will take place at the Celtic Manor Resort in June 2016.

FSE Wales, formerly FSE Cardiff, will be held at Celtic Manor, near Newport, South Wales on Wednesday 28 June, with the new FS Open golf tournament held the next day on its Twenty Ten course.

FSE Wales aims to provide adviser visitors with access to a range of key exhibitors including lenders, distributors, networks, insurance providers, technology companies, and many more.

There will also be a range of seminar presentations, which are CII-accredited and delegates can earn CPD hours. Registration for FSE Wales will be opened closer to their dates.

The FS Open is a new golfing tournament for the financial services industry, pitting 20 teams of four players against each other on Celtic Manor’s Twenty Ten Course, where the 2010 Ryder Cup match was held.

A team of four gets to play on this course plus receives breakfast, drinks at the Halfway House, lunch and a post-round dinner, plus a commemorative photograph.

Full details of the tournament, how to enter and sponsorship opportunities can be found at: www.fs-open.co.uk.

James Prosser, managing director of Front Events, said: “We are very pleased to be announcing two fantastic events which will take place at the magnificent Celtic Manor Resort across two days in June this year. After a successful first year in Cardiff we have rebranded the exhibition as FSE Wales and we have a fantastic exhibition space available, plus incredibly good transport links given the resort is just over the Severn Bridge, off the M4.

“A day later, we are inviting the entire financial services industry to join us for what I’m sure will be a highly competitive day of golf at the hugely impressive Twenty Ten Course at the Celtic Manor, home to the 2010 Ryder Cup. I’m sure there will be plenty of teams out there who think they can emulate Europe’s victory back then, and we are offering a fantastic experience for all teams.

“Coming up to date, it all kicks off for us next month with FSE Glasgow, and with our other shows in Manchester in May, London in September, and the Midlands in November we believe we’re offering advisers right across the country access to a great exhibition. As always we’ll have a strong seminar line-up at each event, plus a varied list of exhibitors to make sure the trip is worth everyone’s while.

“We’re looking forward to kicking off FSE 2017 in Glasgow and welcoming the UK’s financial services community to at least one of our events this year.”
