New key account manager for mortgages at Aldermore

Aldermore has appointed James Young as a new key account manager within its retail mortgage business.

Young (pictured) will working alongside key account manager Steve Hewitt in the development and growth of Aldermore’s relationship with its key distribution partners.

Young has over 13 years of financial services experience, with particular focus in the equity release, residential mortgage and annuity sectors. Most recently, he spent a number of years as national account manager at Hodge, undertaking a lead role in planning sales, events and adviser education activity for the business development department.

He brings to the role a wealth of financial services knowledge, a fantastic reputation among intermediaries, and is a well-known voice in the mortgage industry.

Young, who will begin his new role in at the end of November, added: “I am pleased and eager to start my new role at Aldermore. I look forward to contributing to the continuing success of the Bank and using my industry experience to grow and sustain strong intermediary relationships.
