Mortgage and protection network, HL Partnership, has appointed Mike Hughes as non-executive director (NED).
Hughes (pictured) will be advising HLP’s executive team. Having started his career with Bristol & West and then Legal & General Bank, he also has experience of networks from his time as CEO of Burns Anderson Plc. He was also commercial director of Castle Trust before he became sales & marketing director of Novia Financial. Non-executive roles at Positive Solutions and Origen followed and he is currently a NED at the Dudley Building Society.

My role will be to advise and help the board to build on its current success by amplifying its appeal to the adviser market.”
