New VoIP solution for brokers unveiled

Paul Holden, former sales director of MortgageStream, has launched a new service offering voiceover IP (VoIP) called Phones For Brokers.

The solution targeted at brokers offers clear HD VoIP phone calls using their existing number that enables them to pay less for calls & line rental. The system is particularly aimed at businesses with staff and advisers working from different location, as it joins them all on a connected phone system with free calls between extensions.

The new service also allows brokers that are relocating their office to ‘capture’ their current phone number and move it with them to any location.

Holden, CEO of Phones For Brokers, said: “My background is in providing technology to mortgage brokers and, having been a broker myself, I know many of the challenges facing them not least cost and efficiency. It always grated that there weren’t alternatives enabling me to reduce business costs on items such as phone calls, a mainstay of any broker’s business.

“In years gone past it was widely accepted that making calls using an internet connection was simple, cheap and efficient but broadband speeds were simply not up to the task. Now, the speed of connection means that brokers can not only enjoy HD quality calls while at the same time save money on calls and line rental.”

Paul Buckner, managing director of Orchard Financial Services, which have been using the system, added: “The Phones For Brokers VoIP system has changed the way that we are able to do business. All three offices are on one integrated system which has enabled staff to move from office to office and their calls follow them so that no important sales call is missed.

“Call recording is an essential part of financial services now and it protects both the clients and our financial advisers. I can see how many calls we have made and received over any given time period, and this helps me to plan for busy periods.”
