Paradigm Mortgage Services will be holding a further mortgage and protection roundtable in Chelmsford, Essex at the end of the month.
The event entitled, ‘Post-MMR – how does the landscape look now?’ will be taking place at the Atlantic Hotel, New Street, Chelmsford, Essex CM1 1PP on Tuesday 24th June.
On the day mortgage and protection advisers will hear Paradigm’s views on the market for the rest of 2014 plus some predictions on how the post-MMR environment is likely to play out. Alongside this advisers will learn more about Paradigm’s new protection proposition, Paradigm Protect, and will hear from one lender about its MMR experiences and the plans it has for the intermediary market going forward.
A selection of lender and provider representatives will also be on hand to provide information and support to advisers. These include: Aviva, Exeter Friendly Society, Hodge Lifetime, Nationwide Building Society, Virgin Money and Zurich.
The event is open to all directly authorised mortgage, protection and financial advisers and structured and unstructured CPD points can be gained by attending. Other roundtables are also taking place in Belfast and Falkirk in June and July respectively.
Bob Hunt, chief executive of Paradigm Mortgage Services, said:
“Over the course of the next month we are visiting all four corners of the country in order to provide advisers with a complete overview of what it is like to work in this new regulatory environment and the opportunities that exist. It also gives attendees a chance to hear directly from a number of lenders and providers about how they are looking to engage with the intermediary community and the support and resource they can provide over the months ahead. This industry works best when it communicates effectively and the roundtable provides advisers with a chance to also voice any concerns or highlight any ongoing issues they might be having. It is a truly two-way process of communication and we are looking forward to welcoming advisers in the Essex area to our event at Chelmsford on the 24th this month.”
