OneFamily appoints head of data strategy

The OneFamily Group has appointed Jose Cruz da Angela as head of data strategy.

He will support its OneFamily and Beagle Street brands and will be responsible for driving forward the mutual’s data strategy as it enters a period of significant growth.

Cruz da Angela (pictured) previously worked as the director of analytics at Chill Insurance and as the client partner at 4most Analytics Consulting.

He has also worked with Beagle Street, now part of the OneFamily Group, when it was owned by BGL Insurance. In his role as associate director of pricing, data and business intelligence he set up Beagle Street’s retail pricing, data science and BI capabilities.

He will be working closely alongside protection director, Ryan Griffin, and newly appointed distribution director, Holly Ewing. He will support all areas of the business in leveraging data and analytics to build better products and services for customers; further strengthening the growth of the business.
