Over-50s hit hardest by job loss

Workers over the age of 50 made redundant are the most likely to have to take a pay cut in order to get a new job, according to new research from Key Retirement Solutions.

Its nationwide study shows 77% of over-50s made redundant in the past three years took a pay cut to get back into full-time employment with 45% saying they had to take a “considerably lower”” salary.
