Peer-to-peer lending platform Folk2Folk has announced the resignation of Jane Dumeresque, its chief executive officer.
She will leave her role during September.
Dumeresque joined Folk2Folk as CEO in 2015 and has overseen a period of growth and development. This includes opening new regional offices in Yorkshire, Somerset and the Three Counties, building further representation in Cumbria, Dorset, Cheshire and East Anglia and growing the platform’s loan book from £30m to over £170m during her tenure.
Folk2Folk will announce further expansion into the Thames Valley area in quarter four of this year.
During Dumeresque’s time as CEO, Folk2Folk also gained FCA authorisation, joined the P2PFA and launched a series of new products, including an IFISA.
Tim Sawyer, chairman of Folk2Folk, said: “Jane has brought us a long way in a short period of time. The culture and legacy she has created will stay with us in the years to come. We wish her well for the future.”
The firm said an announcement regarding Dumeresque’s replacement will be made in due course. In the interim period, Sawyer will assume the role of executive chairman.
