Pure Retirement has released new adviser-facing video content, explaining what it says are delicate issues on which many in the industry have been calling for greater resources.
Ed Halliwell, Pure’s head of compliance and risk, hosts a webinar discussing vulnerable customers and the best way that the later life lending market can recognise and accommodate them.
It comes on the back of renewed calls from the wider adviser community for more information relating to vulnerable customers, and Pure hopes that Halliwell’s knowledge has created a single-point summary that presents the salient points in a convenient and easily digestible format that advisers can reference as needed going forward. In the second of the new videos, Pure Retirement has created a Gilt Rate explainer video. With many in the industry – especially those new to the market – finding gilt rates an oblique and confusing element of the process, the hope is that by creating content which offers an insight into the finer workings of gilt-based ERCs, advisers have access to material that clarifies the process.
