Royal London has appointed two senior roles in its protection business.
Fiona Wynn has joined as head of protection proposition and Mark Preston as service delivery manager with responsibility for large cases.
The life, pensions and investment mutual said its new appointments support plans for growth, particularly in the high net worth and business protection space.
Wynn, previously head of products within Legal and General’s retail protection division, has a background in end-to-end proposition development and customer engagement, including experience within reinsurance.
Preston was most recently supporting Aegon UK’s individual protection business, which will transfer to Royal London later this year, and brings experience as a technical underwriter and operational manager. He has also built up specialist knowledge of medical and financial underwriting.
