Secure Trust Bank Commercial Finance has appointed Richard Foote as its regional managing director for London and the South East as it looks to increase its lending.
Foote (pictured) joins from ABN AMRO Commercial Finance where he held the role of director of origination and structuring in the firm’s London office focussed on structuring and transacting asset-based lending (ABL”) facilities both domestically and in Europe. During his five years at ABN he held senior origination and portfolio management roles.
Prior to this, he worked in the advisory arm of PwC where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and specialised in corporate restructuring and debt and capital advisory.
As regional managing director, Foote will be responsible for developing and implementing the local strategy and leading the dedicated relationship and origination teams based in London and the South East providing ABL facilities between £1 and £50 million.

Having worked in London and the South throughout my career, I understand the huge opportunity there is in the region and the need for a flexible and tailored approach when it comes to lending.
