Secure Trust Bank Commercial Finance appoints regional MD

Secure Trust Bank Commercial Finance has bolstered its management team with the appointment of Dominic Castle as regional managing director for Yorkshire and the North East.

Castle (pictured) has over 12 years’ experience in the valuation and corporate advisory industry to the team in the region. Joining from SIA Group (UK), where he held the position of head of advisory services, Castle has also previously held roles at accountancy organisations including KPMG and Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC).

As regional managing director in Yorkshire and the North East, Castle will be leading on the businesses core strategy across the region. This will include continuing to work with Secure Trust Bank Commercial Finance’s existing clients in the region, as well as driving business development opportunities across its network of advisers and private equity.

The vacancy arose following John Gribbon’s planned move to retirement earlier this year and his consideration of taking on new personal ventures.

Castle said: “Given its innovative approach to asset-based lending and highly-experienced team, I look forward to settling into this new role and working closely with the regional team, helping to support ambitious management teams and driving business growth across the North.

“The tougher economic climate of recent months has shown the continued importance of supporting innovative businesses across the UK to help deliver their growth ambitions.”

John Bevan, managing director at Secure Trust Bank Commercial Finance, added: “With the wealth of experience and contacts he already holds in the industry, it’s great for the team to welcome Dominic in Yorkshire and the North East. The team is well-placed to continue supporting businesses across the region, working closely with the respective management teams to provide industry-leading flexible finance solutions and expertise.

“Working closely with John Gribbon, Dominic’s introduction to the business will be seamless as they continue to support the region’s existing portfolio, as well as potential new clients. John’s work across the region over the past few years has been exemplary, and Dominic is well placed to continue this strong legacy.”
