The Skipton Building Society has appointed Serena Smith to its team of intermediary regional managers (IRMs).
Smith (pictured) joined the Society in 2016 and worked in Skipton’s customer delivery team before leading the mortgage maturities and switching team.
In her trainee IRM role, Smith will have the opportunity to spend time with Skipton’s senior IRMs and learn more about the world of intermediaries. After six months, she will then work closely with 25 brokers located near to Skipton’s head office.
She said: “I am extremely proud to have been given such an amazing opportunity with Skipton Building Society. Being the second person to embark on such a wonderful training course is proof Skipton is a great investor in its people.”
