Skipton Intermediaries is extending its web chat service to provide further support to brokers.
It has launched its web chat service for all of its broker partners following a trial with over 850 brokers.
Skipton is extending the web chat service to its eMortgage system which offers a range of services and options including creating a Mortgage Illustration (ESIS), Decision In Principle (DIP) or Full Mortgage Application (FMA), reprinting a previously completed ESIS/DIP or FMA and creating a new DIP from the ESIS. Brokers can also view a list of all their cases created online and get instant decisions.
Skipton claims the new web chat service will mean:
- New case enquiries can be made;
- Case update checks can be made;
- The service will save them time;
- The service will fit in with their busy schedules;
- No waiting on the telephone.
The web chat service will be manned by trained advisers between 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
Paul Darwin, Skipton’s director of intermediary relationships, said: “Extending our highly successful web chat to all brokers brings further benefits to our proposition. We have already had fantastic feedback since we first launched the web chat service last month.”
