S&P Global upgrades Together’s credit rating

Together has reported that S&P Global has upgraded the group’s credit rating from ‘B+’ to ‘BB-‘; outlook stable, reflecting the progress Together has made over the last 12 months.

S&P has also upgraded Together’s intermediate holding company, Bracken MidCo1 PLC, from ‘B’ to ‘B+’; outlook stable.

Mike McTighe (pictured), group chairman of Together, said: “Together welcomes this upgrade from S&P. Over the last few years we have continued to improve our governance and added significant depth and diversity to our funding structures to support the continued strong growth of our business.

“This upgrade, combined with our 43 year track record, established business model and the exciting growth opportunities in our markets means that we are increasingly well-placed to deliver on our ambitious growth plans.”
