Sterling Capital Reserve strengthens team

New hire

Sterling Capital Reserve has appointed Greg Williams as commercial finance consultant.

Williams, who has over 25 years corporate finance experience, including asset based lending and invoice finance, has joined Sterling as it plans to expand into the south east Midlands and East Anglia regions.

He says: “We’ve identified a real need from businesses in the region which need alternative or additional funding, particularly via peer-to-peer (P2P) funding – as well as invoice finance and property finance.

“I’m delighted to have joined a fast-growing company like Sterling. I’ve known [its managing director] David Griffiths for many years. Sterling is a great business proposition staffed by extremely knowledgeable professionals.”

Griffiths added: “I’ve known and worked with Greg for many years now, and having him on board at Sterling will strengthen our presence in the south east Midlands and East Anglia area considerably.

“Greg has fantastic contacts, and we’re looking forward to him offering the finance that growing businesses need, but simply can’t access from banks at present. Our message is: Sterling is here to help.”
