Tenet: Growing appetite for QCF Level 6

Tenet has revealed that approximately 20% of its adviser population is currently seeking advice and support on increasing their qualifications to QCF Level 6.

Helen Turner, group distribution and development director at the Leeds based adviser support group, said IFAs are looking to give themselves a competitive advantage regarding qualifications post-RDR and continue with their personal development.

She added: “There is also speculation that Level 6 may become mandatory at some point in the future and advisers are looking to future-proof their business as well as study for qualifications within their own timeline. It is very positive news that in these early days post-RDR, many advisers are already looking to exceed the required qualification levels.”

In response to this, Tenet is providing a programme of courses from August onwards to support the CII exams in October.

These will be available to all advisers, not just those who currently purchase support from Tenet.
