TFC Homeloans has opened a central London office and appointed Gary Barton as its first consultant for specialist lending.
Barton has responsibility for both business development and account management of TFC’s London-based brokers, working closely with them on complex specialist finance cases and developing new business opportunities.
He has been an intermediary in London for a number of years, following a career with NatWest across its London branches.
Nigel Payne, managing director of TFC, said: “We needed somebody with a wealth of mortgage knowledge, who not only understands the pressures of being a broker but also has an intricate understanding of the London market.
