The Darlington Building Society has launched a life insurance promotion which will provide support to Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice.
Anyone purchasing a life insurance policy through the Society’s network of 12 local branches before 1 September 2013 will receive £25 worth of ASDA vouchers themselves but in addition Darlington Building Society will make a £10 donation to Zoë’s Place.
As an additional incentive to take part in this promotion, anyone applying for a life policy will take away a Zoë’s Place teddy bear.
Marjorie Robinson, office manager at the Society’s Hartlepool branch, said: “Not everybody realises that Darlington Building Society sells life insurance so this promotion has been designed to get the message across that we do.
“The Society has been a supporter of Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice for a number of years so the opportunity to link them to this promotion, thereby providing some additional much-needed funding, was one we were pleased to take.”
Liz Jacobs, corporate fundraiser at Zoë’s Place, said: “We are absolutely delighted that Darlington Building Society continue to support the hospice. This ongoing support enables us to provide respite and palliative care for babies and infants from birth to five years old who have life limiting and life threatening conditions. All the help we receive is very much appreciated.”
